About

I fell into weddings in the early 90′s, never imagining myself as a wedding photographer. I was able to bring my artistic vision to the work, making me one of the most sought out non-traditional photographers in Boston. At this time I was using medium format and B&W film, and booked clients solely from referrals. At one point I was photographing 50 weddings in a year!

Things have changed: I’m shooting mostly digital (something else I didn’t think I’d ever do) and not shooting as many weddings. Lately I’ve been adding to my repertoire of portraits, including children and families, in my Chelsea studio. Soon things will be changing again, as I am expanding my studio into a fabulous artist’s community in East Boston.

Community is very important to me. I am a member of the Chelsea Cultural Council and a co-founder of the Chelsea Artists’ Collaborative (CHARCOLL). I am also a strong advocate of my fellow artists and manage the Gallery@Spencer Lofts.

I specialize in B&W printing, fine art, photographing musicians, food, children/families and weddings.

Have a look around to see what inspires me and maybe you will be inspired too!
